I am completely enamored with the Urban Vita doll. I think she is the best combination of fashion doll and play-doll. She is so much fun to pose and I love her retro look. She seems to be extremely well-engineered so that she can easily move into graceful, natural positions, and do it better than most Japanese super-articulated dolls and most high-fashion dolls. (I swear I don't work for Horsman, lol!)
I especially like your photo of her in her jeans outfit. -Karen
As I said, I made the clothes in this post, with these exceptions: I got the white shoes on eBay and the jeans are Tyler by Tonner. I think the shoes were advertised as fitting Ellowynne, but it has been a very long time & I just don't remember. The jeans don't fit quite the same as they do on the Tyler body. :) I stitched little brown shoes from some thin fake leather. The flip flops were thin card board, yarn and cloth.
Looks like you had fun!
ReplyDeleteI did! It was awhile ago.

I like her a lot. Thank you for your comment, Karen. :)
DeleteCan you tell me where you found her shoes or what doll they are made for? Same question with the jeans and cute sweater top. Thanks -Karen
