Lady Doll

This Tonner doll, Antoinette,
was repainted by Laurie Lenz.
Laurie gave her a name
which I shortened to "Meadow."
She is wearing clothes donated by a thrift store
porcelain doll.  :)

A Little Green in the Face

A Little Blue Knit Sweater

It was fun, but I'm not happy
with the seams joining the
sleeves to the sweater
at the shoulders...

if you see what I mean. :/

A Little Lavender Knit Dress

Was it last week

That I finished this
little lavender dress?

I'm not sure,
but it was fun. :)

I Still Love Dolls!

I still love dolls.

I really do!

Other things have been

getting more attention, of late.
Sorry.

When a Photo Bores Me

Especially when it is a poor quality,

a boring photo

can be fun to play with!
This is Emme by Tonner.
I knit her simple dress.

Knit Halter Dresses for Tyler, Ellowyne, more

Knit from sock yarn
in a three one rib,
this dress is rather
form fitting.

This dress has silver threads
running through it.

Both of these dresses were
nearly done.
Today, I put in the fasteners,
took the photos
and listed them on Etsy.

Suddenly it occurred to me:
I have something "doll"
for my blog! :)

but I plum forgot!

The Wig

I made myself go outside,
again.
It is even more
beautiful out today,
than yesterday.
Not bad for $3, right?
it's a good thing there were
not a lot more kinds of Liv wigs.

I love that I can buy a
ch.. an inexpensive wig,
hack the post out of
it's plastic cap
and have
almost
as much fun as if
I had spent ten times the amount.
OK, maybe more fun --
because I will not worry
much about ruining
a ch... an inexpensive
wig.

I took a lot more photos,
but I had an itch to post,
so I only "fixed"
this one.  (If you ever
did darkroom work, that's
a groaner.  Fixing bath was
the last step, as I remember it.)

THERE!

I was doodling along -- you know,
doing a little of this and a little
less of that, when I decided I would
actually finish something, even if
it wasn't that vital.

So, the fastener is in, as are the
yarn ends,
and the dress is listed.

SO
THERE!

Is it is as Cute as I Think it is?

Just finished the jacket, last night.
Trying to get it listed, now.

Well, do you like it?
Will it sell?
Am I nuts?
Well, that's not in question.

I am nuts.
I guess, is my taste like anyone
else's, would be the real question.

Playing While Working

OK, so I'm visiting my uncle with my Dad
and I took along this morning's
photos to see if there was anything
I could use in my Etsy shop.

I got messing about with the photos.

Aren't you surprised?

Sure, you are!

Early Attempt

I'm not sure I have not posted this
picture, already.  If so, I apologise!
I just loved how delicate Snow White
by Tonner looked after I "messed
about" with her photo.

Tiny Betsy's Turn for Yellow

There was fabric left
over from bigger Betsy's
dress.  This didn't come
out quite as well as I
pictured it.  I haven't
finished it and I may not.
I'll look at it again and see
if I can find a better
attitude.

Tiny Betsy is a Tonner doll.
