Barbie in White

The "portrait"

The original

I liked this one, too.

And this!

But ended up cropping this
one and using it.

Art Ballet??

What to do to make my
photo more interesting...

First, crop it!
(actually, the first one
was cropped from the original)

Next, remove the color,
add some outlines, then
start playing, adding color.

Then, having saved the work,
try what the program's auto
sets will do!

"Painting" a Picture

The photograph was not very good.
The doll (Brinn's Collectible
Martha Jefferson Randolph Doll,
American Tradition Series 1987)
is not currently displayed in
my home.  Worthy of attention?
I thought so.  So I "messed"
with the picture to make it look
a little more like art. ;-)

3 Tries at a Photo

Not original photo, but not as obvious.

Very stylised.

Three Madame Alexander Fashion Dolls

Is it a compulsion?  I seem to
collect dolls in groups, when I can.
3 months ago, I had no Madame
Alexander fashion dolls.  The Alex (blonde)
went on sale a a price I thought I could
afford.  Then the Paris, and I had to have her,
didn't I?  Then, the doll I had admired so much
came up for sale -- just the doll, not the
outfit.  You know the rest.  I bought her.
I posted her already, right, but here she is:

Cindy and Monkey at Christmas

Cinderella managed the tree.
(Please note the striped socks.)

Naughty Monkey!  No peeking!

Monkey is by Dakin.
Cinderella is Playmates.
Her clothes are by me.

Just Looking...

Yes, I am still interested in dolls at my age!

Don't you think she's cute?

An Emme Christmas Carol

Dressed for caroling?

Showing the dress.
Ready to go back out.

LOL!
This is what happens when one of
the adjustments is too loose on the tripod!
