Wow for Wigs!

What does one do, when one craves a certain doll that is out of range?  In this case, I just happened to run across one on Prego, bald and nude, but in my price range.  She arrived yesterday.

What does one then do for wigs?  I just happened to have bought a whole bag of LIV dolls & accessories from Salvation Army...  Here's one.

For some reason there were several short blonde wigs with pink streaks.  (?) So, I pulled the pink part out from the inside.

But, be careful, when going for the close up, to have the wig cap covered!

Both the LIV wigs had to have the post cut out of them to work on Tonners Glowing Muse - Cameo.

Tristen's (Moxie Teenz) wig went right on as is.
I do mean, as is!  I haven't taken the elastic out and combed out the wig.  Another picture, a little less like Morticia?

I don't need any encouagement to keep things that might be useful.  This wig was glued on a porcelain doll.  There was a ribbon glued onto the wig.  The wig was ratty.  Peeling and cutting the glue off and brushing the rats out and taming the frizz, was a start.  The wig was too big, so I sewed around the edge with thin round black elastic.

Perhaps it is not perfect, but I think it's fun.  Does this shot have a little Naomi Judd vibe, or is it just me?
