I May Have Said this Before...

This little wooden doll
was done from a kit by
my very talented sister.
The kit included the
wood pieces
plus the patterns and
and instructions.
I just love her.
(Well, both the doll
and my sister, of course!)
The little cloth doll
on her lap was
made by the same sister.
She made her from
scratch.  This doll's
dress comes off
and she has a
nightgown,
which I keep misplacing.

I may have blogged this doll
before.
I must figure out how to
keep track!

Only a Doll, Revisited

I got to use my son's camera.
Here are some of
those details I was
writing about.

Can you tell I'm charmed with this book?

Ruthie & Kit

My fun tiny American Girl dolls

with their little books, in their little boxes.

Not a Doll!

This elegant little piece of plastic
held a wig I bought for
my Moxie Teenz doll.

Here's how she looked before
I manipulated the photo.

Shape Book

This charming doll book
arrived today.  It does not
say it is a reproduction, but
I'm guessing that is is.
I would like to borrow
my son's camera,
so that I may show some
of the illustrations.
He (and the camera)
are away, at present.

Perhaps I could dress a doll
like this...  Hmmm... :)

Pancake Patty

Every once in a while,
I get the notion to make
another cloth doll.
Some have called this
age-old style "pancake"
because of the flat construction,
I believe.

So, here she is, made several
months ago, and just fell out of a
bag as if to say, "Hey, remember me?"
Patty is three and one eighth inches tall
and her clothes are sewn on her.
As I recall, the toughest part was
tying those tiny bows!

Do you ever make pancake dolls?

Skater Dorothy Hamill is a Doll!

And I have one!

I was going to wait to post
about this doll until colder
weather.  It was so hot here,
today, that I thought she
might make me feel cooler!

I think she is by Ideal.
