THIS IS IT!

Tomorrow being my "blog-iversary," this post
brings my attempt to post about dolls each day
for a year to a close.  There was one miss.
There were two stumbles, but I wrote a
"makeup post" for each of these little
holes in my path.

I am not finished with doll related blogging.
Having followers encourages me.
Getting comments encourages me.
The way that I feel when I hit on an
idea for a post encourages me.

So, have I been kept from depression
in this year?
Not entirely,
but blogging about
one of my "loves" has been a bright
spot in some gray-ish days.

Thank you for joining me.

See you soon.

  1. Congrats for making it an entire year! I think that is quite an accomplishment! I have enjoyed your blog and getting to now you, so I hope you don't stop blogging now.
Dolls are a bright spot for me too. Sometimes real life is hard.
By the way, I used to have a doll like the one in the upper left-hand corner of your photo (British Birds). She was very pretty, but I ended up re-homing her because I prefer children dolls over adult dolls. :o)
Hugs to you, my sweet bloggy friend!

  2. LOL! Took another look at your photos and realized that I also had a Goodreau Secret and Innuendo. I re-homed them for the same reason as above. They are really fun to pose and play with though. Secret is a beautiful doll. :)

  3. Bama, I certainly consider finding you as a friend one of the highlights of my year! You encourage me. You warm my heart. Knowing we share our faith in God is such a blessing. I plan to keep on doll blogging. This blog was started, not only because I needed to set a goal and reach it, but because the doll posts were taking over my original blog. :) As usual, thank you, Bama. :D

  5. Thank you, M!:) I guess I'll have to wait on the new doll part. After all, I sure got some new-to-me dolls when I had done nothing to deserve it. :)

  8. Congratulations Aunt Lou! Dolls can enrich your life and I'm glad it can be your happy place through depression. Though blogging hasn't kept you entirely from depression you acomplished a great deal and I wish you the best in the rest of your journey. I'm glad you're not finished writing doll posts though ;)
